About Me

To create is my passion, to teach is my release. As a small child I would sit with Mom’s bag of fabric scraps, rounded scissors, and threaded needle for hours at a time making clothes for my doll friends. I have always loved fabrics of all types. Even now most of my mixed media arts involve some sort of cloth. I began teaching in Spokane, Washington as a Macrame Artist and quickly moved on to other mediums. After moving back to Santa Barbara I taught Adult Ed Art classes for several years, also teaching in craft shops in various locations around Southern California. During the same period I sold my patterns with a business partner, and ran a holiday shop, The Gingerbread Boutique.Since that time, I was a guest artist on a Carol Duvall Christmas Special, and most recently, I have been teaching at the Art and Soul Retreat…….It is WONDERFUL!

My work has appeared in several issues of Art Doll Quarterly, and I hope some future issues as well!

Designing, creating, and teaching are such a huge part of my life!
